2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/41WELL-BEING AT WORK CAN WE COUNT ON GREATER EMPLOYEE AUTONOMY?2025-05-01T15:00:38+00:00Rachida AALLALIr.aallali@encgcasa.maSafa SELLAMI CHERKAOUIsafacherkaoui@yahoo.fr
The liberated enterprise is a new philosophy promoting well-being and autonomy at work, and any company, whatever its size, can implement solutions adapted to its context. In Morocco, the premises of the liberated enterprise are beginning to appear in medium-sized startups employing young, well-trained staff. In this article, we focus on the issue of the liberated enterprise in large Moroccan companies. The results of our empirical study show that this new management approach is far from being implemented. Lack of maturity and the risk of losing control represent, for Moroccan managers, the main limits to the implementation of the liberated enterprise model.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/42THE PRACTICE OF INFORMATION MONITORING AND STRATEGIC PROSPECTING BEHAVIOR: THE MEDIATING EFFECT OF KNOWLEDGE CREATION.2025-05-02T00:26:38+00:00Latifa ZEDDINItest@test.comBelgacem BCHINIa@test.com
The relationship between information monitoring practice and prospecting behavior is still controversial despite the diversity of work that has been done on each of these concepts. In our research, we conduct a literature review specifically focused on the existence, nature, and meaning of this relationship. We then show that the concept of knowledge creation could have an important role in this relationship and we test it as a mediator of this relationship on a sample of 102 high-tech companies. Finally, we show, using the method of Preacher and Hayes (2008), that knowledge creation mediates the relationship between information monitoring and strategic prospecting behavior. Moreover, the practice of monitoring has a positive and significant effect on knowledge creation. This research has both theoretical and empirical implications. On the theoretical level, this research has developed a conceptual model explaining the relationship between information monitoring, knowledge creation, and strategic prospecting behavior. This model highlighted the mediating effect of knowledge creation. On the empirical level, our research allowed the adaptation of the scale of measurement of information monitoring, strategic prospecting behavior, and knowledge creation.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/43RÉSILIENCE ENTREPRENEURIALE ET CAPACITÉS ORGANISATIONNELLES ET MANAGÉRIALES POUR LA CONDUITE DU CHANGEMENT NUMÉRIQUE DANS LES ORGANISATIONS PUBLIQUES ET PRIVEÉS2025-05-02T00:36:25+00:00Driss FERHANEdferhane@uae.ac.ma
In a continuously evolving environment, digital transformation has become essential for both public and private organizations. This phenomenon is explained by several factors, including technological innovation, rising customer expectations, and the necessity to improve operational efficiency. The rise of the Internet and digital platforms has profoundly changed how organizations interact with their customers and partners. Indeed, organizations that do not adapt to these changes risk losing their performance and facing threats to their development. However, digital transformation is not merely about acquiring new technologies. It requires a profound reassessment of internal processes, business models, and operational modes. This transformation necessitates a cultural shift, where innovation, agility, and collaboration become core values. Therefore, it is crucial to cultivate a mindset open to digital change, enabling each employee to become an active participant in the digital transformation process. It is in this context that entrepreneurial resilience gains prominence. It refers to the organization’s ability to adapt, overcome crises, and innovate in the face of challenges imposed by digital change. In this framework, preparing for change, digitally transforming processes, and transitioning to a digital and agile organization requires strengthening innovative and adaptive organizational and managerial capabilities. Hence, the central question arises: How can organizations develop sufficient entrepreneurial resilience to effectively support digital change while optimizing their organizational and managerial capacities?
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/44COMPARATIVE FORECASTING OF MOROCCAN DIRHAM EXCHANGE RATES: ARMA VS. Within the Moroccan context, characterised by demographic potential and pressing social challenges, the entrepreneurial ecosystem emerges as a potentially critical, yet demonstrably underdeveloped, strategic mechanism for nurturing young entrepreneurs. This article provides a critical review of the literature concerning the core components of such ecosystems, analysing their efficacy and interplay in enabling the creation, development, and scaling of youth-led start-ups within Morocco. It moves beyond description to critically evaluate the impact of public policy, the persistent challenges of accessing appropriate finance (particularly for social ventures), the limitations of existing support infrastructure, and the constraints imposed by prevailing entrepreneurial culture. Identifying significant gaps between policy rhetoric and on-the-ground realities, the study analyses barriers faced by young Moroccan entrepreneurs, paying specific attention to the distinct needs and potential of social entrepreneurship. The article concludes by proposing context-specific, actionable recommendations aimed at catalysing both economic and social innovation, thereby fostering more equitable and resilient growth driven by Morocco's youth.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/47EXPLOITING MOROCCO'S GEOGRAPHICAL POTENTIAL WITH GEOMARKETING2025-05-02T23:17:06+00:00Mahmoud BELAMHITOUMbelamhitou@uae.ac.maNouha BEN AISSAnouha.benaissa@etu.uae.ac.ma
Geomarketing, as a strategic tool based on geospatial data analysis, plays an increasingly significant role in marketing decisions, enabling the optimization of commercial and location strategies. In the Moroccan context, this field finds fertile ground due to the country’s macroeconomic stability, strategic geographical positioning, and ongoing development of modern infrastructure. This article focuses on three main axes to explore this topic. The first axis highlights Morocco’s geographical advantages, including its proximity to European and African markets, political stability, and advanced infrastructure such as TangerMed and free zones. The second axis examines the use of geomarketing in marketing strategies, emphasizing its application in operational marketing and market research to better understand and meet consumer expectations. Finally, the third axis analyzes the opportunities provided by technological advancements such as geospatial artificial intelligence and data mining while addressing major challenges related to data confidentiality, technological limitations, and security. This shift in paradigm marks a global movement highlighting the imperative for global and national organizations, continents and nations to adopt the digital arena as an essential part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives. The key to this shift lies in the recognition that socially responsible practices cross borders, becoming a collective responsibility for the global community. In the case of Morocco, the administrative and digital restructuring of the public sector have emerged as strategic priorities aligned with national public policy. The acknowledgement of the critical role of digital and technological practices in organizational frameworks has stimulated efforts to integrate corporate digital responsibility strategies. Public Moroccan establishments and enterprises (EEP) are at the forefront of a stage of dynamic digital transformation, requiring the incorporation of DRC strategies as part of their modernization drives. In this context, social auditing is emerging as a crucial tool, assuring continuous improvement by systematically assessing the social impact of digital practices. A qualitative exploratory study is undertaken to uncover the current state and potential of CRD implementation within Moroccan EEPs. It additionally investigates the nuanced ways in which social auditing can actively contribute to the development of this emerging practice. Examining the intersection between CDR and social auditing, the study is intended to provide valuable feedback to practitioners, policymakers and academics, while also encouraging further research into the integration of sustainable and socially responsible digital practices on a global scale. In this exploratory study, it is possible that we may find a relationship between social auditing and its influence on improving digital responsibility practices within organizations. Specifically, we might explore how social auditing, through recommendations from the CSR platform, could impact or enhance digital responsibility in organizations. Alternatively, it is also possible that we may find no significant relationship between these variables. This study aims to explore these possibilities, and the article will provide a final answer based on the findings.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/61DETERMINANTS AFFECTING INTENTIONS TO PURCHASE AND BEHAVIOR TOWARDS LUXURY PRODUCTS: A PRISMA SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW.2025-05-04T09:56:30+00:00Nour FIJAHIamirafijahi589@gmail.comMounia SLIMANsliman.mounia@gmail.com
This article reviews and synthesizes the literature on the determinants of luxury purchase intention and behavior. This article delves into the dynamics of e-government implementation within the Ministry of Justice, framing the discussion within organizational change theories. The study critically examines how digital transformation impacts traditional public administration structures, focusing on the Ministry of Justice as a case study to explore these effects in a high-stakes, bureaucratic environment.
The article analyzes structural reforms, cultural shifts, and strategic challenges, drawing from empirical observations and theoretical frameworks. Key areas of focus include the reengineering of judicial processes, the integration of digital case management systems, and the implementation of online services to improve accessibility and reduce administrative burdens. Furthermore, the study highlights the organizational resistance faced by such initiatives, driven by entrenched hierarchies, resource constraints, and a lack of technological readiness.
While significant strides have been made, particularly in streamlining operations and enhancing public access to judicial services, the findings reveal persistent challenges. These include overcoming bureaucratic inertia, addressing data privacy concerns, and managing the tension between efficiency and fairness in digital justice systems. The article concludes by offering actionable recommendations for policymakers and public managers, emphasizing the need for inclusive change management strategies, robust legal frameworks, and sustained investment in digital infrastructure. This research contributes to the broader discourse on digital governance, offering valuable insights for advancing e-government in complex public sector contexts.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/63MOTIVATION VS SATISFACTION, LE PARADOXE DES PRATIQUES RH EN ENTREPRISE : QUELQUES ÉCLAIRAGES SOUS LE PRISME DES THÉORIES DE CONTENU2025-05-04T10:09:33+00:00Aicha JEBARIaicha.jebari.rh@gmail.comOmar BELKHEIRIobelkheiri@uae.ac.ma
This paper challenges the discourse of HR managers on motivation. After having identified the so-called “motivation” HR practices and having categorized them, they were subjected to analysis to assess their motivational impact. For this, we used the corpus of content theories (in particular: Alderfer and Herzberg). This approach allowed us, first of all, to highlight the complexity of the motivation process and its relationship with the notion of (dis)satisfaction: motivation cannot be understood outside of reasoning in terms of (in) satisfaction; something that most HR managers do not clearly envisage. Then, it provided us with a prism for assessing the HR practices identified to show to what extent a significant part of these practices is not implemented in the best way, as a “motivation” factor.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/64FRAMING SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENTS: A NARRATIVE STUDY INTO INFLUENCING FACTORS2025-05-04T10:17:15+00:00Inass BEN SLAIMANEa@test.comSouad BOUNGABa@test.com
As sustainable investments gain immense momentum worldwide, this article examines the intricate relationship between sustainable investments and the factors influencing an investor’s decision-making. Our choice to explore sustainable investment relies in the realm of financial growth and societal impact. These investments, characterized by the integration of ESG criteria (Environmental, Social, and Governance), are increasingly recognized globally for their potential to deliver long-term economic returns while aligning with ethical beliefs. This research explores both internal and external factors. On one hand, internal factors include financial performance, behavioral finance (encompassing emotional and psychological drivers), demographic influences such as the age and gender of investors, and, notably, risk perception and aversion. While risk tolerance could straddle internal and external dimensions, understanding it is crucial as an internal determinant. On the other hand, external factors include government regulations and policies, market demand, public perception, and the availability and accessibility of information. By defining foundational concepts and synthesizing perspectives, this research delivers valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and individuals aiming to foster sustainable development generally and sustainable investment specifically.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Managementhttps://ricg-encgt.ma/index.php/IJTM/article/view/65IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW.2025-05-04T13:51:54+00:00Ikram Alamia@test.comDounia Achiraquia@test.comZineb El Andaloussia@test.comMahmoud Belamhitoua@test.com
As consumer preferences evolve toward transparency and fast delivery, companies are increasingly turning to
immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and the Metaverse to enhance
their supply chain management (SCM). These technologies, which have been evolving for over six decades,
offer significant advantages, including improved operational efficiency, customer experience, and
sustainability (Sutherland, 1964; Slater, 2009; Milgram & Kishino, 1994). Despite their growing adoption,
there is a noticeable gap in the literature regarding a comprehensive analysis of their impact on SCM.
This paper presents a systematic review, following the PRISMA model, of immersive technologies in SCM.
We identify three key areas where these technologies are transforming SCM: intelligent manufacturing,
customer experience, and sustainability (Bag, 2023; Wei-Han Tan et al., 2023; Domingos et al., 2024).
Additionally, we highlight the challenges and transformative opportunities that these technologies present for
businesses (Chylinski et al., 2020; Heller et al., 2020). Our findings contribute to the theoretical
understanding of the relationship between immersive technologies and SCM and provide directions for future
research.
This study offers valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners, demonstrating how immersive
technologies can optimize inventory management, enhance product design, and improve logistics, while also fostering sustainability and customer engagement. Future research should focus on empirical studies to better
understand the practical application of these technologies across sectors and industries.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 IJTM International Journal of Trade and Management
